Another nude boyfriend!

love the lapels on this blush pink / nude boyfriend blazer by Rachel Zoe

the back and sleeves are nicely tailored too - Rachel Zoe nailed it with this one!

Icing pink kitten heels to melt my heart!

these pale blush pink, perhaps nude kitten heel pumps look so sweet - just like cake icing. Good enough to eat!
the silver interior reminds me how amazing pale pink looks with silver or pewter...

Jelly sandals ready for spring

just like pretty jelly beans and by JuJu and in Bermuda pink no less!

just add a pretty floral skirt...
and perhaps a baby blue denim jacket...
and a lipstick pink v-neck sweater...

Nude again!

So I'm still looking for that tasty ever so blush pale pink winter coat...
love the light Thousand Island dressing pink shade...
now this pale blush pink / nude overcoat was built for comfort - love it!

Powder pink vintage cuty!

for starters, it's got that vintage vibe...
sort of a soft mauve or pale lilac, rather than nude or blush pink - so cute!
it could be as light as this soft blush pink...
love the detailing on the back and the buttons on the sleeves - nice classic styling...

Just peachy!

Ya know it's getting harder to find a blush pink / nude winter coat, but I've come to the conclusion that most shades of a pink known as "blush" are usually a pale peach, apricot or mauve, though many retailers are calling pale candy pink "blush" too. So not only is "blush" hard to define but harder to find in a coat these days, being very much in demand!
I like how this loosely constructed pale peach / apricot blazer is close to blush pink or nude
even if it's a bit too peachy (more orange), I think it should be pretty flattering against my skin tone...

Spring in Autumn pastel pink coat

Not sure what to make of this coat, which is really a lightweight autumn coat, rather than a warmer winter coat it was supposed to be - the colour is completely different, brighter than blush pink but lighter than the lilac pink expected...
Not bad with a pink floral scarf and the lapels up - though I think it would be better with lapels flat...
I guess it's more like an icy coconut ice pink but more pastel than blush or nude pink. Spring in Autumn!

Thinking pink

So, I'm somewhat flirting with the idea of dying my hair pink - as soon as my hair goes white, I'll take inspiration from Dame Helen Mirren and go pink...

Mirren actually said that she was copying the pink hair dying trend among young women these days...
WOW - that looks incredible - and she doesn't have to be an emo or rebel to do it!

although, there's nothing new about tinting one's hair pink...
like Mrs Slocombe in 70's show Are You Being Served? where her hair was tinted virtually all colours of the rainbow!

and then there's Aussie Dame Edna Everage...
simply fabulous!

Shocker!

not sure what to make of this shocking bright bubblegum pink jacket which was supposed to be more like a pretty lilac -- oh it's a shocker! The length of the fur was supposed to be longer and straighter, kind of shaggy... This XXL turned out to be more like a snug Small... Hmmm... Still so very shocked!!!
with a bright flash and no light adjustment, looks a little lighter and icier or bluer
doesn't look much different photographed without a flash and in yellowish light. Like bubblegum as in the first picture... Whoah!!!
what it was supposed to look like per their stock images -- icy lilac and so fluffy and shaggy and incredibly hip on her...

Sweet pink crush: coconut ice coat

keeping my peepers peeled for a long pale pink overcoat these days...
wondering what the actual hue of this coat would turn out to be... Like lilac or a powder pink?
kind of like a luscious light mauve as they represent it...
like the leopard scarf with a similar pink coat...
a black and white leopard works well too -- or is that cheetah?
just a touch of leopard is all you need...

just a piece of Berlin

colourful artwork from the newly fallen Berlin Wall (looks like my multicoloured galaxy blog banner!)
the pebbled concrete from which this part of the Berlin Wall was built

As the re-unified Berlin celebrates 25 years of the fall of the Berliner Mauer or in English, Berlin Wall, on November 9 I hold a chunk, remembering that I've owned a historical piece of Berlin for more than two decades! (close to a quarter of a century) My how time flies...

Here is Berliner Max Raabe and his Palast Orchester with What a Difference a Day Makes

loving: burgundy, blush, magenta and lilac

this burgundy boyfriend coat / jacket I featured earlier turned out to have a basketweave pattern in the knit and is quite warm!
this lilac pink, magenta, burgundy and blue paisley scarf is a perfect match!
loving these blush pink socks with magenta, purple, pink and red lips or kisses that go with the coat! Awesome when things coordinate...

Crushing: enameled camellia brooches

toy Chanel? I love the Art Deco charm of these stylized camellia flowers rendered into earrings and a brooch...
and this Nolan Miller "Lara" camellia brooch is gorgeous with its Arte Nouveau charm...
this vintage ivory flower, perhaps a dogwood or camellia, by Weiss looks quite like a camellia as well...debating whether a gold center would be better than black or perhaps gold with a touch of black...

Cute: 1920s style flapper with cloche brooches

love this 1920s style flapper with cloche brooch!
equally cute in blue and lilac!

and here's Max Raabe Palast Orchester with a Charleston any flapper would love!
love the camellias on her robe...

Blushing for: nude blush pink jeans

liking these rolled up at Capri length which lends a girly touch to such a sweet blush pink...

they make me wanna go to a beach somewhere, Bobby Darin says it best:
Somewhere, beyond the sea...

Serendipitous find: a painterly floral clutch

love the way this floral clutch bag looks just like a photograph of a beautiful still life painting done by a Renaissance master. All the blush pink flowers are perfect for teaming with nude / blush pink clothing...
it's as if I just visited an art museum in Europe and bought a functional souvenir at their gift shop but for a fraction of the price!

Loving: leopard wrap dress

deeply, deeply discounted and rather sexy leopard or cheetah print V-necked wrapover dress - just like the one a high school friend in Sydney, Petra Butters donned in the early 1980's for Mufty Day.  Simply adorable!

and here are Depeche Mode with Just Can't Get Enough...
thanks fellas! :-)
